  • Know the procedure to convert to the new system.
  • Develop the characteristics or data required to identify the inventory for each category and price level.
  • Understand, define and create the data required for the conversion.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the beginning balances.
  • Enter, edit, correct, post, audit and balance the transactions such as physical counts.
  • Inquire into entries and accounts.
  • Correct entries that have been posted incorrectly.
  • Generate reports such as trial balance, sales journals, statements, inventory price lists.
  • Maintain and purge historic data.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly backups.
  • Integrate with other applications or software.
  • Recover the backed up files.
  • Update the application software.

The trainee will acquire a thorough working knowledge of the system.
